Medium: epoxy resin, leaf
From December 1st, 2018 to January 2nd, 2019, I took a leaf every day and saved them which means to save the past time.
When I show leaves out sometime in the future, we will see the past time coexist with the current time. As Austerlitz said, "that time will not pass away, has not passed away, that I can turn back and go behind it, and there I shall find everything as it once was, or more precisely I shall find that all moments of time have co-existed simultaneously".

In my opinion, a leaf can make me feel myself, feel a world and feel a subtle universe. The laws of nature and the laws of time make me ponder and fascinate me, so I started research on nature, time and space, and tried to find a state that makes time and life be eternal. That is the reason why this work exists.
In November 2018, the fallen leaves have covered the entire city in London. It made me feel the shortness of life and the law of the time of nature, probably because the leaves fall from the trunk and return to the soil in a way that is very similar to the way we live. The way of life is very similar. The trunk is like our living space or natural environment. As time goes by, both human life and leaves have a relatively fixed life period. They fall or die, and eventually, they will rot and return to the soil.
